 1st Annual Town Of Jay Golf Tournament -
Weds., June 25, 2008!
Thank you for your visit. Jay, Vermont is a small, scenic ski and golf town (thanks to Jay Peak Ski & Golf Resort) located on the very top of Vermont in Orleans county and borders Quebec, Canada to our north. Jay is in an area of the state known as the Northeast Kingdom and is one of the last "undeveloped" towns where you still find peace and serenity while enjoying the world-class recreational opportunities that exist within our borders.
 Activities in Jay include skiing, hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, and golfing and Jay is truly becoming a four-season destination for those that want peace and solitude. Jay is in the beginning of a town-wide revitialization project that began in the summer of 2007 and has already started paying off. You can now :
Cross Country Ski or Snowshoe in the Jay Land Trust Recreational Area. Work will begin soon to put in a larger parking lot so that skiers do not have to park on the Cross Road. Participate in Green Up day on Sat., May 3, 2008
Participate in Fundraising Golf Tournament at Jay Peak on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 to benefit Jay Town Hall Renovation and Recreational Land Trust. Buy your Christmas Tree in July from the Jay Recreational Land Trust. Great way to pick out your favorite tree in good weather and pick up in December. Funds will be used for the Jay Recreational Land Trust Park. Attend the Jay/Westfield Summer Fest in conjunction with Jay Peak's AugustWest Music Festival on Sat., August 9, 2008.
Be part of a Town of Jay "Risque" Fundraising 2009 Calendar, with photos of people who live and/or work in Jay along with scenic views of our beautiful town. On sale starting Columbus Day weekend.
