JayVT.com Advertising Application

The town of Jay, VT has developed its website to serve the needs of the community as well as those from outside the community. Our goal is for the website to become a resource for residents and visitors to our community that they can turn to when they are looking for services and recreational opportunities.

To support our goals, the site includes a business directory for local businesses with multiple levels of participation from free to paid home page banner ads. All business listings are located in the directory section of the site regardless of the participation level. 

For a business to qualify as a Jay business, it must have its physical location (storefront) located within the town, regardless of the town of residence of the owner. If the business does not have a physical storefront, the primary place of business must be with the town and the owner must live in town. An example might be a snow plowing business that is operated out of a person’s home. If that business serves customers within town and the owner lives in town, they will qualify for the reduced rates for residents.

 The town of Jay and JayVT.com reserves the right to refuse any ad that is deemed unacceptable, inappropriate, does not meet the moral and ethical standards of the community or is not seen as falling within the geographic region surrounding our town.

Application Instructions:

To best assist our volunteer staff, we strongly encourage you to fill out our online application here. Payments can be paid with cash, check or on line via PayPal. Logos should be emailed to infojayvt.com or dropped off at the Town Clerk’s Office. Once we have received payment and the application, we will post it on our website in a timely fashion.

JayVT.com website advertising rates are based upon a calendar year and are prorated on the following schedule:

For ads placed:

January 1 to March 31                              100%

April 1 to June 30                                       75%

July 1 to September 30                               50%

October 1 to December 31                          25%
