Paint, Scrap Metal & Tire Recycle
Paint recycling made easy
There are now more than 70 PaintCare sites in Vermont where households and businesses can recycle unwanted paint, stain and varnish all year round and it's free.All PaintCare sites accept at least 5 gallons per visit (some take more). Call ahead to confirm business hours and ask if they can accept the type and amount of paint you would like to recycle. Leaking, unlabeled and empty containers are not accepted.

Scrap Metal
Scrap metal can be dropped of in the metal recycling container located at the Troy Town Garage (Rte 105) any time the gate is open.
Tire Recycle once a year, normally in September at Troy/Jay Recycle Center
