Jay Recycling Guide

 Effective Immediately! (7.15.21)
The Troy/Jay Recycle Center can no longer accept any plastic bags.

As of March 2016, The State of Vermont has issued a variance to the Troy/Jay Recycle Center pertaining to the July 1, 2016 Leaf, Yard, and clean wood debris mandate.  The recycling center for Troy and Jay is not required to collect and recycle Leaf, Yard & Clean Wood Debris. Options for disposal include composting Lead and Yard Debris at home, or bringing to Lyndonville Recycling Center.

Beverages Covered Beer, malt, carbonated soft drinks, mixed wine drinks; liquor
Containers Covered Any bottle, can, jar or carton composed of glass, metal, paper, plastic or any combination (Biodegradables excluded)
Amount of Deposit liquor: 15¢ All others: 5¢
