Looking for an opportunity to get outside and go for a walk.....and do something for our community?
Head on over to the JCRC.
In any season, help us keep the trails free from fallen debris by picking up and moving brush and branches 10 ' off the trail.
In spring, bring along a rake or leaf blower and blow leaves and debris off the trails, or loppers to remove low hanging branches, or help fill eggs and distribute them along the trails for the Egg Hunt.
In the fall, volunteer to help decorate and then undecorate for Halloween or to help out with Oktoberfest (September 17 this year).
In the winter, volunteer to help decorate and undecorate for Leprechaun Scamper.
Year round, check and empty the ash buckets by the grills of ashes and trash, or clean and restock the outhouse. This spring, one of the picnic tables in the meadow needs to be reassembled. If you have a cordless drill/ screwdriver and screws, we need you!
If you are interested in helping us with any of the above, let Sally and Denise know. Many hands make light work!
